WorldWide Moscow 2014: classic makes a comeback
GD Arredamenti will once again be taking part in Moscow’s iSaloni WorldWide this year, to be held from 15th to 18th October at the Crocus.
Among more than 500 exhibitors from all over the world, who are visited by over 40,000 operators each year, GD Arredamenti really stands out for its approach which gives the utmost importance to content, to product quality, to the materials used, to natural wood above all, and to flexible construction able to support furniture design, guaranteed by an almost entirely integrated production process
This new design, presented at the exhibition, uses wood, accentuating the properties of this natural, renewable and flexible material in the best way possible. Park Avenue, designed by Luciano Dal Bello for GD Arredamenti’s Ca’ d’Oro collection, is a project for the kitchen-living area whose style falls between “timeless” and “simple classic”, inspired by the history and evolution of Italian-American cabinet makers, an extraordinary example of proto-industrial organisation in the traditional world of furniture and furnishings.
Park Avenue is characterised by its exclusive use of lime wood and is presented with a linen-white lacquered finish and pink Peralba marble worktop. Glass fronted wall units with white lacquered interiors and stretched glass reflect the style of the design. The round-shaped table, with a 200-cm diameter and hand carved legs, is made from natural stained Cherry wood with herringbone inlay and a final coat of beeswax.
