Milan Design Week 2012 with Cottoveneto

GD Arredamenti and Cottoveneto are coming together to present some of the most popular products from their 2012 collections like you’ve never seen them before. Cottoveneto’s elegant showroom in Milan, in via Fiori Chiari 16, in the heart of the city’s prestigious Brera district, will host “New Connections: GD Arredamenti and Cottoveneto”. The event will be part of the 2012 ‘Brera Design District Fuorisalone’ event, from 17th to 22nd April 2012.

These two brands from Treviso, which have always shared a vocation for innovation, technological research, design and attention to detail without ever neglecting their traditional roots and artistic heritage, create excellent “Made in Italy” products: large companies that grow, cleverly combining industrial production with unique craftsmanship, a hub for creativity and design.
GD Arredamenti and Cottoveneto use their products to “intertwine” their own experiences, experimenting with new solutions at the Fuorisalone event – solutions that are able to adapt and meet any requirement in a sophisticated and elegant way.

The precious “Fosfeni” micro-mosaic by Cottoveneto, new to the Gold Collection, is used in the multi-award winning Argento Vivo kitchen designed by Roberto Pezzetta in an original, modern and sophisticated version: playing with ‘cross-contamination’ that has great potential.
Inserted into the large wall unit, the composition by Cottoveneto (design by Anna Sutor) plays with tiny stone resin tiles that emerge from the absence of light, just like the small bright sparks of “Fosfeni (phosphenes)”, creating an array of bright colours: an irregular pattern that sparks the imagination in the most lived-in room in the house.
