Eurocucina 2014: Wood & Color

GD Arredamenti is pleased to announce that it will be presenting its new kitchen and living area designs to industry professionals and the press at Milan’s Salone del Mobile – Eurocucina 2014, from 8th to 13th April 2014, in its dedicated “Wood & Color” area (Pavilion 9 – Stand D02/D04).

GD Arredamenti’s Velvet range is presenting its new Velvet Élite design, characterised by a powerful technical and aesthetic impact. The design and structure of this kitchen are based on the natural characteristics of wood, focusing on its malleability in combination with other materials to create a kitchen that’s traditional in terms of its contents (for example, its materials), yet modern and international in terms of its stylish appearance and sophisticated finishes.

Velvet Élite is characterised by a “flat-groove” opening system, with an angle of 30° cut into the upper edge of the doors so that they can be opened without external handles. The doors (26 mm thick) are available in a range of 12 new water-based stains on solid Oak and Larch wood made using a 3-layer technique, obtained thanks to GD Arredamenti’s integrated industrial process.
Another key feature of the Velvet Élite kitchen range is the height of 84 cm available for the bases, in line with the demands of the international market, allowing for increased capacity.

The GD Arredamenti stand at Eurocucina 2014 will also be presenting the interesting new wooden products created by designer Andrea Lucatello. The purpose of these products is to better integrate the kitchen with the living area: a new table, new chairs and a new series of containers and pantries.

The stand has been designed by architect Alejandro Ruiz and has been created to limit its impact, avoid waste and promote recycling and correct waste disposal.
With the expression “Wood & Color”, GD Arredamenti aims to highlight the difference between wood as an excellent material for the kitchen, a natural, renewable and flexible material able to meet the needs of custom-made designs; wood as a versatile finish able to create a range of styles, from classic to rustic to modern, thanks also to the possibility to use a practically infinite range of colours, allowing the kitchen to adapt to any environment and any taste.
