Rialto

Rialto is the bathroom range created with furniture from the Fortuna Gold collection by GD Arredamenti.

Around the 11th century, Venice’s precious market and the numerous “Marangoni” craft workshops were transferred to the area around Rialto, along the eastern bank of the Grand Canal. The growing importance of this “square” of trade and social gatherings increased the amount of people walking across the floating bridge that connected the two banks. It was then that a number of wooden bridges were built, but it was only in 1591 that it became possible to admire the current Rialto Bridge, a symbol of the union between the ‘lands’ of Venice, a Venetian icon and example of extraordinary architecture built over the water.

The Rialto bathroom is made from solid, lacquered Lime wood and finished with wooden panelling, upon request. A 6 cm-thick marble top is recommended. The upper cabinets have a sliding door.
