NYC Design Week event 2010: augmented reality

The augmented reality experience, presented last April at the Eurocucina 2010 event, arrives to the United States, in what will be the new GD Arredamenti showroom, set to open in November 2010.
During New York Design Week, a 750 m2 space will be opened to the public for the first time, in Chelsea, the district of “New York galleries”; still empty, the exhibition space will virtually host the Argento Vivo kitchen design by Roberto Pezzetta.

Thanks to augmented reality technology, it will be possible to admire the Argento Vivo kitchen in 3D. Using a special software, it will be possible to “touch” and “dress” the kitchen in the range of lacquered colours available for the satin glass doors.

A unique experience demonstrating the continuous research carried out by GD Arredamenti, not just in its field of expertise but also with regard to new frontiers of communication.
